Warranties & Terms

  1. The vendor warrants all products to be free from defects in material and workmanship for this period of 2 years from date of invoice.
  2. This warranty does not cover:
    • Results from abuse or misuse
    • Improper installation if self-installed
    • Normal wear and tear
    • Exposure to the elements
  3. We do not warranty Translucent fabrics from fraying
  4. We do not warranty fabrics that have been requested to be railroaded
  5. All materials can lose their original intensity after long periods of time in the sun. When left for extended periods in sunlight, plastics tend to crack and become brittle. All cords will eventually wear out. We consider these things to be normal wear and tear and are not covered by the warranty. Colours may vary from lot to lot and may not exactly match sample swatches or previous purchases and advise to order all blinds in the same room together for the best possible matching.
  6. If our products are defective during the warranty period, we will repair or replace the defective product at our discretion. This shall be your only remedy under this warranty.
  7. Wholesale customers must return the defective blind back to us as originally packed at their own expense or photograph the problem (after approval for Metro Shades P/L ) for refund/resupply or repair approval. The Returns Form must be correctly filled out and returned with the faulty product or photograph.
  8. Metro Shades P/L are not responsible for delays from product suppliers. As your order is a made-to-measure product, fabrics are ordered as required.
  9. On acceptance of order as confirmed via attached signature and / or receipt of credit card details the customers agrees and understands fully that the blinds are being custom made and fabric stock is being specially ordered for the job which cannot be returned or cancelled. In case of cancellation the customer will be liable to pay the full amount as quoted regardless of cancellation notice.
  10. Metro Shades P/L accepts no liability for:
    • Incidental or consequential damages;
    • Cost of removal or re-installation of our product/s. ( Applicable to Wholesale Customers Only )
